Administrator Accounts Now Available

If you oversee EPA Method 9 certifications for multiple students, our VR Smoke School Administrator Accounts will allow you to manage student certifications from one dashboard.

VR Smoke School Administrator Accounts

Individuals who oversee multiple employees who need EPA Method 9 certification now have a simpler way to manage students, monitor certification status, maintain records, and streamline billing.

VR Smoke School has launched new Administrator Accounts for individuals from companies, government agencies, consulting firms, utilities, industrial facilities, and other organizations that coordinate EPA Method 9 certification for multiple observers.

Manage Your Students from One Dashboard

The new Organization Dashboard gives authorized administrators a centralized view of students connected to their organization.

Administrators can:

  • View linked students and their current certification status
  • Identify students who are certified, expiring soon, expired, or not yet certified
  • Review individual test and certification histories
  • Download copies of student certificates
  • Monitor upcoming certification expiration dates
  • Archive students who are no longer associated with the organization
  • Manage multiple organizations from one administrator account

If needed, multiple administrators can be assigned to a single organization when certification responsibilities are shared among environmental, safety, training, or human resources personnel.

Additionally, multiple organizations can be assigned to a single administrator to keep billing separate for different facilities and locations.

Connect Students with an Organization Code

Each organization receives a unique organization code.

Students enter the code from their VR Smoke School dashboard to connect their account to the organization. Once linked, their testing and certification information becomes available to authorized administrators.

The organization code also allows a student to validate and download their certification without paying. VR Smoke School then invoices the organization directly for use of the code.

This allows organizations to centralize certification expenses without requiring employees to submit payments or request reimbursement.

Helps Prevent Certification Lapses

EPA Method 9 certifications are valid for six months from the test date.

For organizations managing several certified observers, tracking individual expiration dates can become difficult. The Organization Dashboard clearly identifies students whose certifications are current, expiring soon, or expired.

Administrators can use this information to plan recertification before an employee's credentials lapse.

No Separate Administrator Login Is Required

Existing VR Smoke School users do not need to create another account.

After an Administrator Account is approved, administrator permissions are added to the user's existing VR Smoke School account. The administrator can access both their personal student dashboard and the Organization Dashboard using the same email address and password.

Request an Administrator Account

Administrators who manage multiple EPA Method 9 observers can request an Administrator Account from their VR Smoke School dashboard if they already have an account or when registering for an account.

After the request is approved, administrators will receive a unique organization code and access to the Organization Dashboard.
